Concordia Chorale
25 years of singing adventures!

Founded in 2001, the Concordia Chorale is a 60-voice adult community choir, based in Monmouth County NJ. We rehearse on Monday nights from 7:30 - 9:30 pm at Monmouth Reform Temple in Tinton Falls. We present three local concerts each season and we frequently participate in multi-choir choral concerts at Carnegie Hall. We sing at the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and in other major concert sites in the area.

Concordia is well known to area singers as a touring choir. In 2018 we sang our first 'choral residency' at Exeter Cathedral in England. A cathedral 'choral residency' is when you sing all the required services for a few days while the cathedral choir is on holiday.

In 2019 we sang a concert tour in China, singing in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Beijing and the Great Wall. The host choirs with whom we performed were unbelievably receptive and welcoming. They sang Chinese national music and sang an all-American program. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Post COVID In 2023, we sang our second English cathedral 'choral residency'; this time at Ely Cathedral. We also sang two concerts, the first of which was in a country church next to John Rutter's house. As we were rehearsing one of his pieces, he dropped by unannounced! and conducted the choir in his music - a magical experience!

In 2025 we toured Portugal and Spain, visiting Lisbon, Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Madrid and Barcelona, including singing in the Sagrada Familia!

In June of 2026 we are singing in Montreal, Quebec City and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré.

In May of 2027 we are touring in Japan, singing in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka. Come join us!
